Co-Founders
Emily Brown and Lindsay Fernandez co-founded Above Social with one simple concept in mind, we wanted to help small business owners succeed in their desires to build something important.
We truly believe that the action of helping local businesses succeed causes a direct effect on how different sized communities can better our world! We’ve seen first hand start-up businesses transform into community bonding, revenue generating, success stories. We understand the struggles and challenges that go into starting a small business, and unfortunately the world doesn’t slow down for such mishaps.
Above Social is dedicated to helping small businesses grow and evolve through the power of social media. Our company will help educate our clients in understanding the power and reach that social media marketing can create for their business, and in return earning growth, profit and community empowerment.

My name is Gabrielle! I graduated from Saranac Central School in 2015. I am a licensed cosmetologist. Full Time mom of two amazing little boys! My husband Jim and I are native to the Adirondacks. He and I, along with our boys Gatlin and Gunner, currently reside in Au Sable Forks, NY on our quaint little slice of heaven. We have two dogs, a cat and a few farm animals! We love hunting, all things outdoors and spending time at home together! I am also a local singer/songwriter. I perform in various locations with my band Movin’ On. I have been singing since i was very young which lead to being a burning passion of mine. I am so excited to be a small part of what these two amazing ladies have started. Although their business has already flourished, I can’t wait to help them thrive!

I am a marketing student working towards my bachelor's degree, deeply passionate about the creative aspects of marketing and eager to pursue it as a lifelong career. I currently live in Queensbury with my boyfriend and our fur baby, Kodak. I enjoy going hiking and going on water adventures with them. We also just started to love going kayaking. In my free time, I love getting lost in books or watching Gilmore Girls on repeat. I am so thankful to have this wonderful opportunity to intern with such amazing women.

Hi, I'm Annie! I recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Communications degree and have developed a true passion for not only social media and content creation, but am also thrilled to be working with local businesses that I can truly connect with and build relationships with. My family moved from Long Island to Glens Falls a few years ago, and since then I've absolutely fallen in love with the Adirondacks and all its beauty, which is why i've moved back from Nashville! In my free time, you can find me on a long walk, on a boat on Lake George, camping, skiing, and looking for new places to explore. I'm thrilled to be working with and learning from this team of amazing women and connecting to the small businesses that make the ADKs so special!
